Jamb change of course or/institution gives interested candidates who either have low jamb score or prefer to change their institution for some reasons best known to them, the opportunity to do so before the deadline date.
This process is to enable candidates who already
know their scores and have verified the cut off
mark for their selected courses in their choice
institutions to make the necessary changes in their
choice of course and institution relative to their
UTME scores.

If you scored below 180 in the UTME and you previously chose a competitive University, Jamb change of course/institution gives you the opportunity to edit your Jamb form and chose a less competitive one to increase your chances of gaining admission.
