The registrar of the Joint Admission and Matriculation
Board, Prof. Dibu Ojerinde, has publicly stated that, the Post-Utme conducted
by higher institution will soon be scrapped. He further stated that the introduction
of the CBT mode in Utme have really had a great effect in combating examination
malpractices in Utme.
According to the registrar, the introduction of Post-Utme
came into existence because of the high level of examination malpractice that were recorded in previous Utme examinations.
However, the registrar claimed that when examination malpractice is fully eradicate with the aid of CBT, there will be no need for further examination such as Post-Utme in higher institution.

The Jamb boss further stressed that the use of Computer Base
Test was not only introduced for Jamb examination alone, but also to help
students overcome challenges in higher institution.
